Absinthe Review: Absinthe République Vintage
Jack Thompson 26.01.2014Review:
I think I may have a new favorite absinthe. It starts out with a heady, herbal aroma and beautiful dark amber color. The louche is very thick and forms quickly. It is very full flavored, aromatic, and the wine alcohol base sets this off as a truly gourmet absinthe. Over the past 12 years I\'ve tried over 180 different absinthes and can honestly say this is one of the tops.

A distilled Absinthe from Great Britain. The distillery is located in southwest London. It is good Absinthe for a perfect price.
This Absinthe is different. It doesn´t use a traditional recipe, it doesn´t claim to be made after grandfathers recipe and it doesn´t want to be a French styled Absinthe.
This Absinthe is something very special. It is distilled with 26! herbs. This gives this Absinthe an extreme complexity. When you already have some experiences with detecting different herbs in Absinthes, you will especially enjoy this Verte.
