Yes, all the Absinthes we offer for sale are made with wormwood (artemisia absinthium). All our Absinthes are real European Absinthes, which means the recipes are not modified for the US market: We sell the "Real Deal".

How will my order be shipped to the US and is it safe?
Your order will be shipped via fast DHL Airmail. This means it takes 5 (metropolitan areas) to 10 (rural areas) business days until you have your Absinthe in your hands. Full online tracking is available. You will get your tracking number automatically as soon as your order is shipped. Ordering is 100% safe. If anything should happen to your order (breakage etc.) we will refund you for the loss or reship the items.
Is a signature required for delivery?
Yes. If you are not at home, the shipping company will leave a note or call you. You can then pick up your box in your local post office.

No. A signature is required for the delivery.
Do you ship Absinthe to Canada?
Yes, we do ship to Canada. But Canadian custom may inspect your order and will charge import taxes. These taxes have to be paid by you, the buyer. ALANDIA is not responsible for any additional taxes that may apply.

My Credit Card is rejected, why and what can I do?
Credit Cards can be blocked by the issuing bank because of security reasons. This can be the case, when you place an order with a high amount or when you usually do not order with your credit card internationally on the internet. If this is the case, contact your credit card bank first and inform them, that they shall allow the payment. Or simply use a different payment option like PayPal.
What is the conversion from $ to Euro?
Your order will be charged in USD. Please check the exchange rate online.
How many bottles can I order?
The maximum per box is 6 bottles, as this does not exceed the limit for personal consumption. Larger orders will be split in multiple boxes. To save on shipping, we recommend to order 6 bottles. Yes, Absinthe is as well a great gift ;-)
