Description
ALANDIA Verte Édition Barrique is a barrel-aged Absinthe, made after the original ALANDIA Verte recipe but further aged in French oak white wine barrels from the Loire region. This gives this Absinthe a very smooth and creamy taste, with further notes of vanilla and toffee. The herbal composition of the base recipe is primarily focused on Absinthes iconic ingredient: Wormwood, also known as “La Grande Absinthe”. The plants are cultivated on the fertile fields of the distillery, which guarantees superior quality. Overall, this Absinthe is a sensory experience.

- spicy and excellent Review by Jack
It starts out with a spicy aroma and a thick fast forming louche.. There are nice hints of cinnamon, vanilla, and toffee. There is a pleasant slight woodiness to it from the barrel, but it's not overpowering. At a 4:1 ratio with no sugar it's perfect. This is my favorite exclusive-to-Alandia absinthe that they've come up with yet.. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.. (Posted on 9/29/2022)Rating - barrel age Review by Grooes
I love whiskey and therefore was quite interested in this barrel age absinthe. The taste is complex, I mean to recognize cinnamon like jack does. In contrast to a normal verte, it is smoother. I drank it with just a little water. I liked that best. You still have the fresh taste of absinthe with this absinthe but with an extra of the barrel. I really like it! My second bottle of the "regular" Alandia Verte is gone soon and I like it a lot, so I didn't hesitate to get a bottle of the Verte Barrique. This one is even smoother than the regular, a bit more complex and with a nice touch of the barrel age taste. Both the regular and Barrique version are recommended! (Posted on 9/29/2022)Rating
