Absinthe Hypsoline is a limited edition Absinthe for the French rock band La Femme. It is distilled by Awen Distillery from Chevaigné, a small town in Brittany. The distillery is known for high-quality craft spirits in organic quality without any artificial additives.
Hypsoline is made in small batches with a love for nature. The taste is classically fresh with a slight floral note (we're guessing hibiscus flowers..?). But no question, you buy this Absinthe mainly because of its fancy label. It was designed by French tattoo artist Yoan Delastre. He is known for his Art Nouveau-inspired chiaroscuro faces. Each bottle is sealed with wax.
La Femme, the band behind Absinthe Hypsoline
La Femme is a French band formed in Biarritz in 2010. The band consists of nine members and plays a mix of musical styles, including indie pop, new wave, surf rock and electropop. Their music is often described as avant-garde and experimental, and contains influences from 1960s French pop culture. La Femme has released several albums and EPs, including their 2013 debut album "Psycho Tropical Berlin," which was very successful in France. The band has also gained international recognition and tours regularly in Europe and other parts of the world.
