Absinthe Hermes: The fictive story behind the bottle

Little is known about the Japanese brand. Therefore we have created a fictional story how it could have been. Nejoy reading 🙂

In the neon-lit streets of Tokyo in the early 1970s, amidst the bustling crowds and the hum of city life, there existed a hidden gem known only to a select few. Tucked away in a narrow alleyway, adorned with ivy and lanterns, stood a clandestine speakeasy named “The Green Lantern.” It was here that the enigmatic bartender, Hiroshi Tanaka, crafted his most prized creation: Absinthe Hermes.

Hiroshi was a master of his craft, blending Eastern precision with Western flair. He had spent years honing his skills in the art of mixology, drawing inspiration from the vibrant energy of Tokyo’s nightlife and the timeless elegance of Parisian cocktail culture.

Absinthe Hermes was his magnum opus, a labor of love that paid homage to the storied history of the fabled green spirit. Hiroshi had meticulously sourced the finest botanicals from across the globe, including the elusive wormwood from the alpine meadows of France. Infused with exotic herbs and spices from Japan, his absinthe possessed a complexity and depth unmatched by any other.

Word of Hiroshi’s creation spread like wildfire among Tokyo’s elite, and soon, The Green Lantern became a destination for connoisseurs and adventurers alike. But Hiroshi’s ambitions extended beyond the borders of Japan. He dreamed of sharing Absinthe Hermes with the world, of taking his place among the legendary bartenders of Paris, the birthplace of Absinthe.

The journey to Paris

With determination in his heart and a bottle of Absinthe Hermes in hand, Hiroshi embarked on a journey across continents, bound for the City of Light. In Paris, he found himself amidst the cobblestone streets of Montmartre, where artists and poets once sought inspiration in the intoxicating embrace of absinthe.

At a quaint bistro tucked away on a hillside, Hiroshi introduced himself to the proprietor, Madame Lucille, a formidable figure with a keen eye for talent. With a twinkle in her eye, she invited him to showcase his creation to the patrons of her establishment.

The evening was a revelation. As the first sip of Absinthe Hermes touched their lips, the patrons were transported to another realm, where time seemed to stand still and creativity knew no bounds. Word of Hiroshi’s absinthe spread throughout the city, drawing artists, writers, and bohemians from every corner of Paris to Madame Lucille’s bistro.

In the hazy glow of candlelight, amidst the swirling aromas of herbs and spices, Hiroshi found himself embraced by the spirit of Parisian nightlife. Absinthe Hermes became synonymous with the essence of Montmartre, a symbol of creativity and freedom that transcended language and culture.

Years passed, and Hiroshi’s absinthe became a legend in its own right, celebrated by aficionados around the world. But amidst the accolades and acclaim, he never forgot the humble beginnings of his journey, from the neon-lit streets of Tokyo to the cobblestone alleys of Montmartre…
