This bottle of Pernod Fils Absinthe can be dated to the 1960s and is from the Pernod Fils Tarragona distillery in Spain. Pernod moved its production to Spain after Absinthe got prohibited in France. The bottle still has its original wrapping, which is rarely the case. We took it off for some pictures, so that you have a better view on the bottle itself.

As you can see on the photo, the labels of this Pernod Fils Tarragona Absinthe bottle are in good condition. The bottle has 0.75 liters, which is more than most of the bottles of today. The price for this bottle is 1000 Euro. This is of course a lot, but vintage Absinthe can be seen as an investment into the future. It is quite probable that the price will increase, because bottles of vintage Absinthe are really rare. Only a few are still on the market. And not many are in such a good condition.
