Now, that 2016 is almost over, a lot of people wonder about the Best Absinthes of 2016. Obviously, this is subjective. However, we want to provide you with our Bestsellers of 2016. This in conclusion means that these Absinthes are also our customers favorites.
The Best Absinthes in 2016
Absinthe Strong68 is a great Absinthe, that represents the typical wormwood flavor like no other. The high wormwood concentration results in a slightly bitter taste. It provides you with the real Absinthe experience.
Best Absinthe 2016: #2
Absinthe Heritage Verte is distilled in France with the use of a very traditional recipe. A wine alcohol base is used, that gives Heritage Vere a slight Cognac smack. The natural green color, as well as its intense louche makes this Absinthe stand out from the rest. But wait till you taste it, the creamy, deep wormwood flavor is amazing. That’s why Heritage Verte is one of our all-time favorites.
Best Absinthe 2016: #3
Probably one of our coolest bottles of Absinthe: Absinthe Hamlet Hardcore Green in a skull. This Absinthe has an alcohol degree of 80% by vol., which is super strong, and we think it explains its bestseller status, people drink it because of its Absinthe effect. Of course, it also has the typical color of Absinthe, green, and is bottled in a pretty cool skull bottle.
Best Absinthe 2016: #4
Absinthe Gold68 is an anise-free Absinthe. And as some people do not like the licorice taste of anise, Gold68 enjoys quite a popularity. It has citrusy notes and is best drank with 1-2 sugar cubes. Needless to say, that Gold68 has as well a very high wormwood level…
Best Absinthe 2016: #5
Another customer favorite is the official Absinthe of Marylin Manson: Mansinthe. The licorice mouthfeel of this Absinthe is relatively low, which is welcomed by some Absintheurs. But the unique selling proposition of this Absinthe is its connection to Marilyn Manson, that’s why people buy it! It’s Marilyn Manson’s official Absinthe.
Best Absinthe 2016: #6
Another French Absinthe made it into our bestseller-list: Absinthe République Vintage. This distilled Absinthe has a very smooth profile, which is achieved by using wine alcohol as a base. Absinthe République Vintage represents the good old times. If you are looking for an authentic, premium and well-balanced absinthe, we will always recommend this Absinthe to you!
Last but not Least: #7
This one is definitely one of our favorites: Absinthe Suisse Verte. There’s something special about this Swiss Green Fairy: Its taste and its natural green color. Premium wormwood, plus 11 aromatic mountain herbs, give this Absinthe its unique character. It is a bit pricier than the rest, but you really get Swiss precision!
