This Absinthe is special because it has little herbs in the bottle. The herbs floating in the liquid give off their special qualities resulting in a strong and bitter taste. Absinthe King of Spirits does not louche, as it contains no anise. Buy this Absinthe if you like a bitter taste.
Czech Absinthes, are they any good?
Czech Absinthes do not have the best reputation: Often they are artificially colored and sometimes they even do not contain wormwood. Frankly put, they are often more of a green colored Vodka than an Absinthe. Additionally, Czech Absinthes often skip the herbal ingredient "anise", which normally gives Absinthe its licorice taste. Historically, Czech Absinthes are therefore not real Absinthes, as the traditional Absinthe ingredients are wormwood, fennel and anise. Czech Absinthes are sometimes stigmatised as "Absinth". The "e" is skipped as these Absinthes are somehow not regarded as the original thing. So why do we offer King of Spirits then...? King of Spirits uses wormwood in its recipe and is naturally colored. It is also a product that has been on the market for quite a long time. It was actually one of the first products that you could buy after the Green Fairy was once again legalized. Somehow you can call King of Spirits a "real classic". We do not say that this product is of highest quality. But if you want to taste something new, give it a try. There are some people, who really like King of Spirits because of its bitter taste. And if you do not like the licorice taste of Absinthe, it could also suit your needs. Last but not least we have to mention that meanwhile authentic Absinthes are as well produced in the Czech Republic. Particulary Martin Zufanek has to be mentioned. We also offer his Absinthes at our store (St.Antoine, La Grenouille, Mead Base Absinthe).

People tend to Underestimate Chezch Asbinth so dont judge from those. If you like wormwood and dont mind spending some extra cash to satisfy your curiosity then give it a try.
After a year I tried it and was blown away. Taste wise? It is harsh and could be compared to after shave, IMO. But the effect is worth it.
I would rank this one higher than my 35 mg bottles and on par with my 100mg bottle. I have two bottles left 1 is 3, tried a drink amounting to 3 shots last month, years old and 1 is 2 years old; the 2 year old has never been opened. I could only describe the effect as electro-euphoric.
