Crème de Menthe Glaciale is created by Tempus Fugit Spirits from a century year old recipe. The liqueur is based on fresh mint and some other mountain herbs. The taste has an icy tingle to it, and is so refreshing that you can perfectly enjoy Crème de Menthe on its own as a digestif. Of course you can also use it as an ingredient for a variety of old-fashioned cokctal recipes. Our favorite is the Grasshopper (see recipe below).
"Grasshopper" cocktail recipe with Creme de Menthe:
- 1 part Creme de Menthe
- 1 part Creme de Cacao (also available here at ALANDIA)
- 1 part Cream
- 1 splash Absinthe (only a bit)
Put everything in a shaker with lots of ice, shake, pour in glass and garnish with a mint leaf.
