With the placement of your order you accept the following Terms and Conditions of Trade.
0. 100% ALANDIA Delivery Guarantee
All orders include our trusted 100% ALANDIA Delivery Guarantee. This means if there are any problems with the delivery of your order (custom problems, lost box etc.) you will get a full refund of your money or we will reship the products, whatever is prefered. There is no risk at all for you the buyer.
The Absinthe store ALANDIA was founded in 2001. From this date on ALANDIA proudly serves the Absinthe community around the world (EU, UK, USA, CA, JP etc.). Shipping to the USA is made via Airmail. It takes approx. 8-10 business days until your Absinthe arrives at your door. A tracking number is emailed to you as soon as your order is shipped. Therefore you always know when the Green Fairy will knock at your door. If you have any questions or comments, just email us. 1. Legal Drinking Age
With the placing of an order you have to register in the shop and you have to state your age. With placing an order you declare that you are over the legal drinking age in your country of residence. Usually this is 18 years (Europe) but in some states the legal drinking age is 21 (esp. United States).
2. Import of the ordered products
Before placing an order you have to ensure that its legal to import the ordered products. Registration and declaration of any custom charges and fees abroad are the responsibility of the addressee / buyer. It is an advice to inform yourself about international shipping regulations at your local custom office, as we reserve the right to change orders that break local laws.
If anything breaks during shipment we will replace the damaged products in the next order or reimburse the value of the product. Please send us a photo of the broken item via email in case you have experienced a breakage.
4. Undeliverable Packages
If a package is undeliverable and returned only the costs for the merchandies are refunded, not the shipping costs.
5. Online Tracking
All orders are trackable online. As soon as your order is shipped you will automatically get an email with your tracking number from the shipping company. Therefore you always know when your package will arrive.
Your personal data that you entered in the shop are not given or sold to any third parties.
Accepted payments are Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal or Bank Transfer. In any case goods are only shipped after we have received the payment.
8. Currencies / Prices
The prices in the shop are shown in Euro. You can switch currencies to USD by clicking the box in the upper right corner of our website.
No VAT applies for orders outside of the EU.
10. Withdrawal Policy / Returns
If you are shopping for purposes assigned neither predominantly to your commercial nor to your self-employed occupation and if you are thus ordering as a consumer, you are entitled to a right of withdrawal according to the following withdrawal instruction:
10.1. Right of Withdrawal (EU customers)
You have the right to cancel the contract on which your order is based within 14 days and without giving a reason. The cancellation period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you (but not the shipper), takes possession of the final goods ordered. Sending us a written notification of your decision to exercise your right of withdrawal before the end of the cancellation period is sufficient to comply with the time limit. In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must contact us using the contact details below and clearly state in writing (e.g. letter or email) that you have decided to cancel the contract on which your order is based. You may use the standard withdrawal from which we provide as a download, though this is not obligatory.

Consequences of Withdrawal
If you revoke the contract on which your order is based, we will refund all payments we have received from you including shipping costs without delay and, at the latest, within 14 days from the day we receive your notification of withdrawal. Exceptions are additional cost that result from your choice of a different kind of delivery than our inexpensive standard shipment. The return payment will be executed with the same means of payment that you used at the original transfer, except something different was agreed to. Under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this refund. You will only have to bear the costs of any loss of value of the items if this loss of value has been caused by handling the items in a way that is unnecessary to check their condition, characteristics and functionality. You are required to send the items back/hand the items over to us without delay or, at the latest, within 14 days of the date on which you notified us of the withdrawal. Sending us the items before the end of the period is sufficient to comply with the time limit. We will bear the costs of returning the items.
We can refuse the return payment until we received the return shipment or until you bring evidence that you shipped the purchased items depending on what happens earlier.
10.2. Right of Withdrawal (Non-EU customers)
In the hopefully rare case, that you are not satisfied with the products you have ordered, you can return them within a period of seven business days from the date of delivery. The period begins from the date of delivery of your order. We take tracking information by couriers into account to verify this date. All returns have to be registered with us via email, or via our contact page. Please understand, that we only accept products returned to us intact, in their original packaging and in perfect condition, able to resold. Any products returned damaged or whose original packaging has been deteriorated will be neither exchanged, nor reimbursed. This right to withdraw your order will be exercised without any penalty except for the return shipping cost. These expenses have to be covered by you, the customer. If you choose to return your order, you have the right to either ask for reimbursement of the sums paid or for an exchange. If you choose to exchange the products, you may return your order or parts of it at your own cost, and have the exchange items shipped back to you, also at your own cost. If you choose to completely return your order, we shall refund your order once the returned parcel reaches our warehouse.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with German law and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the German Courts in relation to any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and/or your use of the Website and/or the Website Service.
