Absinthe Vichy Superieur

This is the clear Absinthe Blanche from the Vichy distillery. It is based on an Algerian Absinthe recipe from the early 20th century. As Algeria was a colony of France, Absinthe was a common drink for soldiers and, as you can see in the picture below, gunmen (Cafe du Vieux Grenadier with Absinthe Oxygenée advertisement). The Absinthe recipe is very harmonic and offers a rich spectrum of aromas. For example nutmeg, cinnamon and citrus peels are part of the Absinthe recipe.
