This Absinthe brouilleur is for the tech-freak Absintheurs (like us). You first pour some Absinthe in the Absinthe glass. Then you place the brouille on top. Now a sugar cube has to be put on the first level grill. Then you fill the second level cup with ice and water. Now sit back, relax and watch the "Absinthe machine" work.

NOTE: The Absinthe Brouilleurs are silver plated, therefore they can tarnish. You can simply clean them with silver polish or - grandma´s secret - toothpaste.

Neat little gadget. Great construction and silver plating. I like using it in conjunction with the Streamline Brouilleur. I start with an empty glass (no absinthe) and use it to make a ice water-sugar base. Then I use the Streamline to complete my drink. The combination of the two takes the absinthe ritual to a whole new level. It takes more time, but isn't the ritual a big part of the joy of drinking absinthe? I took the two of them with me to Digestif restaurant in Scottsdale where I normally go to drink absinthe in public and they got allot of attention. Once people saw how they worked together everyone just had to try them. Lots of fun!
