Absinthe Review: AGWA de Bolivia 40mg version

Review:
Wonderful! This is a grand elixir! The "Bolivian Kiss" recipe is wonderful! Delicious citrus flavor. There is a numbing effect (although a bit subtle). Don't be fooled into convincing your self you will be getting a "Cocaine Buzz" from drinking this. If that was possible it probably would not be permitted on the market. The alcohol will get you first in this drink. With that "disclaimer" made; I do like this. The flavors are of citrus, sweet sugar, and tropical fruit. It is not the "best" drink I have had. I give it five star because of the uniqueness of the drink (and the effect). An interesting side note: Mix equal portions of this with Rodnick Hardcore Absinthe and the drink forms a surface milky layer (probably the cocaine precipitating out into the high alcohol of the Rodnick Absinthe)! Then use the "French" method (one sugar cube louched with ice water) and the drink clears out. As the ice water drips into the mix the entire beverage begins to shimmer in a bright green crystalline manner. The glass looks filled with semi liquid silver-green, shimmering, iridescent, sparkles! Awesome effect (you need a low back-light to get this effect fully). The resulting beverage is something that will leave an indelible mark on what remains of your consciousness! lol!

Review:
Incredibly powerful is the only way to describe it! The smell is intoxicating and almost citrus. When I finally took my first sip I was greeted by a comforting numb feeling and a sweet taste. The sip led to a bigger gulp and eventually I downed the entire glass thoroughly pleased. After sampling the sweet liqueur I proceeded to mix it with a large cup of "Mountain Dew Baja Blast." It mixes very well and gives the same "Comfortably Numb" feeling without the strong alcohol taste of drinking it straight. Perhaps mixing it with "Coca-Cola" would be good? (Hehe...Get back to the original recipe!) All in all its a very powerful drink and I highly recommended it!

WOW, this drink has me extremely impressed. The taste is so good and will be buying more asap, to have on hand. A small numbing sensation and a unique feeling from this potion give it 5 stars in my book.
