Review:
True Trul is not uniqe nor is it a masterpiece but I found this very plesant. My only conplant it is sweet and has a medical flavor to it. I never felt the need for suger in this one. For the price it very good. The effect was as all seid and that is realy the point, if you want flavor alone absinthe is not for you. I do however love the taste of good absinthe. If you want something better "Absinthe Brevans H.R Gigar" is a love/lust of mine(drank the whole bottle firt day couldn't stop myself), not as intense effect and a littel more cost but still very good. Over all I say 4 mostly for value but I like the taste alright, smell is about equal to taste, I do love the effect one shot before I head out the door makes things fun.

very cool! i've known about absinthe since the army, when i was in europe. i was shipping to iraq ,and did'nt get to try it. so i'm back in the states,and i see an add for absinthe. i order a lower priced bottle,and WOW! i've drank the best shine,and the strongest homemade wine,and this stuff knocked my socks off. a strong flavor that you can easily modify to suit your taste,and secondary effects are very nice. you can also modify these effects by how you drink trul as well. i took a bottle to a party,and gave it to my redneck buddies only telling them it was a 140 proof alchohol,the results were quite a site to behold. i plan to try other absinthe but this is my go to absinthe when i'm looking to take a load off,and relax.this is the absinthe to have .

Review:
Though this absinthe may be "bohemian" in style, it is TRULy fantastic! The color seems a bit off, and when drunk with the french method (the only one which I use) a true louche is not produced. The taste is wonderful, while lacking anise (if you don't like anise, this is YOUR absinthe; I love it myself). It goes down nice and smooth when mixed with water, and its secondary effects are stupendous. Among bitter absinthe's in Europe, this ranks in the top ten of "highest thujone count", and I do not understand why it is not placed amongst other strong absinthe's on ALANDIA (the amounts do very, but my experience was fantastic). Even if you despise "bohemian" style Absinthe (along with the bohemian method, which is garbage in my own eyes), you absolutely must give this one a try; any absintheur should be able to appreciate its qualities in both taste and secondary effects. And because this is one of the cheaper absinthe's, its a great value, and should enter your absinthe "rotation" on a normal basis. The three pack available on this site is one of the greatest absinthe values I have ever seen, seeing as how I must ship my own bottles overseas to the USA. I would recommend many other absinthe's before TRUL, as I myself prefer what some see as the more "traditional" drinks. But, since Trul has a great taste (especially in comparison to other Czech absinthe's), has a high thujone content, and is relatively cheap, their is absolutely no reason why you should not give it a shot. And if you are like me, give the freakin' Czechs a chance!

Review:
Very good absinthe. Perhaps too inviting of a flavor. However, the secondary effects are very potent. You need to experience this one if you are going to chase the green fairy. Thujone presence is heavy and evident after the first straight shot. If you prefer sipping, the Czech ritual will put you into a nice warm coma. Excellent overall, this is a top tier absinthe!

Possibly one of the best absinthes I have ever tried. Trul has everything. Cheap price, louches beautifully, gorgeous colour, lovely aniseed taste. I know what I will be buying from now on!
