Absinthe Bistro Siphon - SOLD -

Siphons were a typical accessory of the French bistros. Sparkling water was not available in commercial bottles in the 19th century so CO2 was added by this decanter.  It was used for normal drinking water as well as for lemonades. The objects were often used as a promotion object and therefore most Siphons are decorated by the brands logos. This cobalt blue bottle reads "Apa Gazoasastas" on the front. Notice the interesting dragon like spigot. Good Condition.
