This liqueur de anis was produced after the Absinthe prohibition of 1921. It is made by the Un Emile Pernot distillery, which is known for its premium Absinthes. As usual this Anis is made by macerating different herbs in alcohol, and distilling the charge. In comparison to mass produced brands, no oils are added to the base alcohol. Serve diluted 1 to 3 with water. No sugar added.
