Absinthe Review: Absinthe Elixier

Review:
Elixier is a very strong brand, a little too minty for my taste. It will however create a good absinthe experience. good for some quick shots, not recommender for a casual glass.

Review:
This is only the 3rd Absinthe I have tried. But thus far it is the best in taste and also in the effect it has. I have also tried Blue Velvet and Mata Hari. Although I did enjoy the Mata Hari very much I really liked the rich full taste of the Absinthe Elixier and the effect is very relaxing. This was also the first time I tried it in a Bonque. 1st I tried it the traditional way by flaming the sugar cubes and pouring it in the Bonque with about a 50/50 mix with water then I tried it clean in the Bonque, both were very enjoyable but I think the clean in the Bonque was probably more effective. But if you try this method take it slow, for it will take your breathe away. This in my books is one of the best Absinthes on the market for effectivness. The Bonque is a very unique way to experience the enjoyment and tradition of Absinthe. If you can embrace the history and tradition that is Absinthe then you are 2- 3rds of the way there. The first 2 of three people I invited to an absinthe party did appreciate it. The third simply could not handle the strong flavor so therefore did not enjoy the experience that the Absinthe could produce. It seems to me that it is an aquired taste. I will surely buy this brand again. I plan on trying several different types and brands of Absinthe. And I will keep a checklist of the ones I plan on buying again. Until this night, I had no idea that drinking it in a bonque could be such a unique experience.. Also I have shopped the net for Absinthe and the prices and reliabiltiy of Alandia cannot be beat. I will come back time and again to buy what I want. I have so many different types of Absinthe to try, I have bought 7 different ones thus far. I tried 3 and have 4 here yet to sample. But when I am ready to try more I know I will buy it here. Because I know it will arrive when I expect it to. Go ahead , shop around, you won't find a better or more reliable place to buy what you want.

Review:
This particular Absinthe is very ,very good .although strong to the taste but not bad . it has a most pleasant affect , diffrent from all the other absinthes Ive tried so far .
