Some US Absintheurs might know Absinthe Kubler from their local liquor store. Kubler was one of the first Absinthes that could be bought after Absinthe legalisation in 2007. But this one is not the modified US version, it is the Swiss original.
The recipe basis for this quality Absinthe is the same as for the other Duplais (Verte and Blanche) a formula from the well known book of P. Duplais from the 19th century.
Absinthe Pigalle has a great wormwood profile which is surrounded by a warm and pleasant anise flavour. The bitter aftertaste - as this Absinthe is macerated and not distilled - is perfectly acceptable.
