Hello i'm new costumer. I'll buy my first absinthe bottle. I haven't used that drink before. Actually we deiced make a party (my girlfriend's birthday party) and we choice 2 bottles of absinthe. One of them is "Absinthe Strong68" and the other one is "Absinthe Hapsburg Hardcore". We're wondering their effects. We want our party must be very funny and guest say us "we're flying". Maybe that birthday our best birthday party Please inform us how can be possible this party plan

I am a beginner at experiencing absinthe. Could you suggest a very good, tasteful absinthe for me to start with? I want to use the Prague method. Also suggest any accessories such as a spoon, sugar, etc. to use for my first experience. It would be appreciated very much.

Hi Kat,
a good starter Absinthe is Absinthe Suisse Verte. But as you want to perform the prague fire method, I assume that you are looking for the "Absinthe Effect". In this case, although we have to point out that Absinthe doesn´t cause hallucinations, try Strong68 Absinthe. It is the Absinthe with the best effect. For the accesories take the Pontarlier Glass set, it has all you need to perform the ritual.

hello!! i have my 30th birthday coming up in december and i would like to treat myself to my first bottle of absinthe. could possibly you suggest the best to buy for a first time partaking of it and how best to make it? i'm hoping for the most original expirence i can get out of it...thanks for the help. |

welcome to the World of Absinthe!
When you are looking for an authentic first impression, I would suggest that you prepare your absinthe the traditional way. Which means absinthe glass, absinthe spoon and maybe an absinthe fountain:
Recommendations:
Absinthe Glass: Glass Pontarlier Reservoir
Spoon: Spoon ALANDIA Classic (or Croix Suisse)
Fountain: Antique Mini
For the Absinthe itself, I would suggest you go for a Suisse Verte Clandestine. That´s a green, authentic absinthe with a great taste and louche. Alternatively you can take Absinthe Époque or Eichelberger Verte 78.
Just type in the brands inthe search field in our shop and you will find them.

I was checking out the danish absinthe community webpage today, chocking. It turned out, they are a bunch of arrogant stuck-ups, who blacklists absinthes, because they aren't good enough and discourages others to buy them. That's why I will continue to use ALANDIA.DE, because you truely understand; absinthe is about you're own oppinions, having room for everybody, even the odd ones, and the right to drink the absinthe you want without being looked down upon.
